The Magic Kingdom should be my home.

I think last week was the week that every little girl dreams of; dreams of being a Princess marrying a Prince but of course before that, going to DisneyWorld. Me being the girl that I am being obsessed with anything Disney related since I was little was probably the most exciting thing since sliced bread. So we left on the 25th June, at the delightful time of 6:30am and began the 655 mile drive to Orlando which was roughly going to take us 10-11 hours. So we hit the road, yes road trip, and passed through the State of Tennessee, through Chattanooga and over the river, into Georgia past Atlanta and continued down the Interstate 75 and reached Florida and Disneyworld by about 5pm Monday night; Fred was an absolute gem and got us there in record time for us to go to Downtown Disney (full of shops and resaturants) for dinner at the 'Wolfgang Puck' restaurant.
The store selling souvenirs was huge, we lost Aunt Laura a couple of times but we headed back to the hotel to shower and have a good nights sleep before heading to the Magic Kingdom the next day, where i was hoping to find Prince Charming and Minnie Mouse.......

I was so excited to visit the Magic Kingdom as i discovered we were getting to have lunch at the 'Crystal Palace' with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet so going on the Pirates of the Caribbean and a quick River Cruise we had lunch and got to meet Pooh and the gang, I am sure i was probably more excited than most of the small children in the restaurant! After lunch we rode Splash Mountain, a Song of the South based ride (the water did not taste nice on that ride) and then we headed to Space Mountain where we waited in line for 2 and a half hours, not cool. After a couple of photos in front of my new house we got in place for the Electrical Parade and firework show, the show was so good i cried (surprise surprise) It was such an exhausting day worth every second- especially when i bought my own Pascal and Minnie Mouse Ears!
After the Magic Kingdom on Tuesday came Epcot and the World Showcase; here we had lunch at Canada and Dinner in Mexico. We wandered round the different countries such as England and Italy, and went on some awesome rides such as Finding Nemo (which involved real Dolphins much to my excitement) Talk with Crush and Soarin'; I decided to try and collect my Fast Pass' to the rides using my 'British Charm' Fred asked me what this entailed; and well I don't know but whatever I was doing worked and i managed to save up about 6 of those things! After witnessing the most beautiful light and water show, yes i cried again, we went to Mouse Gear the biggest of the Disney Stores where i stocked up on gifts, later that night we thought hose keeping had stolen my PJs but they hadn't they were just hiding under Aunt Laura's bed. The plan was to hit Animal Kingdom the next day when the temperatures would be hitting the 90's my tan was getting better and better!

Animal Kingdom was made up of a Safari and several sections of the world such as Asia and Himalayas and China. After an early start we caught the bus from the hotel and waited in line to get into the park i posed for my third day entrance picture, Beth was so kind to take a daily picture of my posing happily before going into the parks. We headed straight up to the Himalayas to meet Fred get tickets for the Yeti ride, then be terrified on the Dinosaur ride, after this came Lunch at the Tusker Restaurant and i got to meet the big fella- Mickey Mouse. Happy happy days. Also there were Donald, Daisy and Goofy; MB told me off for flirting with Goofy, she seemed to think hugging a man dressed as a dog was flirting...... I was behaving, honestly........ After a wonderful lunch we headed off to see the Flights of Wonder bird show, then onto a Safari after being mauled by Bugs in the Tree of Life; Is hard to be a Bug show, I was not expecting my bum to be felt up during that show! So we went on Safari and saw Giraffes Elephants and all sorts of other animals.

After Safari we took a safari trail and watched the Hippopotamus underwater and headed off to the Yak and Yeti restaurant where we had a very friendly waiter, apparently i have the best accent in the world; one meal and a embarrassing note later we ran out of the restaurant (MB decided to run into a statue hurting her arm which lead to her proclaiming about her beautiful beautiful arm, and startling small children in bathrooms) Then we rode the Kali River Rapids and being taught the If it hasn't got a tail its not a monkey song! Animal Kingdom was so good i felt as if i was having a love affair with it and cheating on the Magic Kingdom.

Friday was sadly our last day in DisneyWorld so we headed off nice and early to Hollywood Studios to meet up with Brian and Sharyn who will be housing me and MB next week when we head to Tampa; so we collected our Fast Passes for the ToyStory Midway ride, discovered a giant Scrabble board bumped into Minnie Mouse, Woody and Buzz and then went onto the Backlot tours seeing behind the scenes of Pearl Harbor and seeing cars be blown up! After this was the Great Movie Ride, there were sections from all kinds of Movies like Wizard of Oz and then Alien. I was terrified of the Alien section of the ride (Robert i will never forgive you for Prometheus and Alien); next up was the Tower of Terror only myself Beth and Fred were brave enough to ride! After this we headed over to watch Lights Motor Action an extreme stunt show which was amazing! I definitely need to learn to drive so i can drive car backwards and make them fly, Dad should be up for teaching me how to do this.... I hope! After this was the Muppets 3D, yet another 3D show where i got wet, then onto the Sci-Fi Drive Through restaurant which was amazing. We all sat in old cars and watch clips of old movies and i had a light up cocktail "Attack of the 50ft Woman" was a movie we all got to sample.... Lovely, MB pointed out a few well placed upshots in that movie. The afternoon saw us going on Star Tours (Aunt Laura was the Rebel Spy) and the Toy Story Ride, 119,000 to MB 107,000 to myself, yes sadly she was triumphant over me. Damn. Next up was the  Rock'n'Rollercoaster designed by Aerosmith! I think that was my favorite ride in the whole of DisneWorld; fast, upside down, in the dark and blaring out Aerosmith! After Ice Cream (Mickey Mouse shaped ones) we went on to watch the Voyage of the Little Mermaid, then on to the Disney Animation to see how MuShu was made, after this we all took some tests and i discovered i was most like Cinderella, MB and Sharyn were Tinkerbell, Beth was Dot and Brian was Aladdin! That night we got to see the Fantasmic Water and Light show which was absolutely amazing, yet again i cried at the firework show- I think Hollywood Studios was my favorite day as we did so much, dressed up the Rockstars and Jedis and so many more awesome things, but Magic Kingdom is definitely my favourite park!

DisneyWorld was amazing, Fred was awesome driving all the way there and back without any grumbling or whinging grand total of 1310miles- Im so glad Beth's new Bionic Hips held up and she came on all of the rides with us and was like Wonderwoman how far she walked with us! Fingers crossed Aunt Laura will be able to secure rooms at the Animal Kingdom for when these guys go back, sadly without me, in October. For the moment just hanging out in Knoxville so MB can get better, I've done a couple of interviews already and yesterday was the 4th July which was a great day- tomorrow off to see Spiderman in IMAX!
